I was hired at Walmart Neighborhood market a week ago pending my background check. I have passed all background checks and I havent heard from them. I called the manager two days in a row asking about the job and left my number in a message with no reply. Why do managers do these things when interviewing expect us to be professional when they apparently aren't. The same happened with Harbor freight. I passed the background check and he said he... see more
Employer ghosting is frustrating to say the least and not a good business practice.
I believe recruiters sometimes are inundated with applications and interviews and inevitably ghosting can happen.
I like to use post-interview follow-ups as opportunities to both thank the interviewer for their time and reiterate interest in the role, but also use the opportunity to nudge the interviewer to take action and keep yourself top of mind with them.

Everyday was quite amazing. I loved working there. Management was always very helpful, friendly and cared about the associates. I was a stocker and it was fast paced. The work was hard but that’s what I love. Walmart is a great company to wok for and I wish I was still there.
It was the money that I was paid to work for them the rest I did not care for because I was done wrong
I love love love people. All people and I love helping people. WalMart is definitely all about helping their customers. What's not to love!!!
The customers. I loved answering their questions and helping them find what they needed.
The other associates

Hello Walmart community! I used to work as a Senior Manager in Finance at the Walmart HQ in Bentonville. What questions do you have and how can I help?
I applied for 3 different positions at a specific Walmart that posted the openings online back on 9 October and they haven’t even reviewed the application. How long does it take for someone to review the application? I passed the application process. I check everyday but to no avail. If they have positions open then why don’t they check the application I posted to at least review it? It’s frustrating to say the least.
