I’m really feeling down due to job searching and searching for something that I would like to do and when I do find something that I would be interested in, they “prefer a bachelor’s degree”. I can’t afford to go to school to get a bachelor’s degree and all the jobs that require or prefer some sort of degree, I could just be trained on and do a good job at it. It’s ridiculous and frustrating!
This morning was a rough one… I missed my train, left my bagel in the toaster AND spilled coffee all over my brand new pants. YIKES! All I wanted to do was crawl back into bed and try again tomorrow.
But, I made a promise to myself that 2020 would be a year of personal growth and positivity which means every Monday counts! So, I whipped out my Tide To-Go pen, poured a new cup of coffee and headed into work with a smile.

Job postings where they want 3-5 years experience for an Entry level position. Translation:
We want someone with experience but we don't want to have to pay for it.
I am eager to work but am intimidated by my resume (or lack there of). My advice is to rely more on your presence and personality and try not to sweat the small stuff. Be yourself!
I have volunteer experiences, for example in the library putting in order books and helping the customers. It is hard to find a job that I would love to do every single day.
