Don't just stop at Walmart. Have you tried applying for a part time gig at another store? Also, apply to apply at more than one Walmart location, if accessible. The hiring criteria changes if another store has a greater demand to hire new employees.

I'd try working at a local school perhaps as a lunch person or a crossing guard for the kids. Don't give up sell yourself not your skill set good luck
